To improve the quality and reliability of the information, families may identify the source of the reported cause of death during the memorial creation process. This information is used only to support anonymous, aggregated statistics and is not displayed on individual memorials.
Users can explore anonymous community data by:
- Country
- State or Province
- City
- Time period
- Cause of death
- Scale of Our Loss (number of memorials entered)
- Whether criminal prosecution occurred in cases involving illegally supplied drugs, when known
Families may indicate whether the reported cause of death is confirmed or suspected. This information is used only to improve the accuracy of anonymous community statistics and is not displayed on individual memorials.
